Ace Troubleshooter, an American pop punk band, was formed in December 1995 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group initially consisted of John Warne, Josh Abbott, and Matt Pacyga. They gained early attention by winning a national battle of the bands competition sponsored by Sam Goody in 1996. The band's lineup changed several times before settling into their final configuration with John Warne on lead vocals and guitar, Josh Abbott on drums, Toby David on guitar, and Joe Krube on bass guitar. They released several albums, including Back in the Shootin' Match, which was released in 1996 on Ace Records, Don't Stop a Rockin' (1999), and Ace Troubleshooter (2000). They also released albums through Tooth & Nail Records, such as The Madness of the Crowds (2002) and It's Never Enough (2004). The band was known for its energetic performances and collaborations with other notable bands, including Relient K. In February 2005, Toby David announced the band's breakup on their message board.
