Family Force 5 is an American crunk rock, Christian rock, and emo group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1993. The band consisted of brothers Solomon Olds, Joshua Olds, and Jacob Olds, alongside Nathan Currin and Brad Allen. The members used the stage names âSoul Glow Activaturâ, âFattyâ, âCroutonâ, âNadaddyâ, and â20 Centâ. Derek Mount replaced Allen in 2005. The group released the EP The Phamily in 2004 and the studio album Business Up Front/Party in the Back in 2006. The release featured the recordings "Love Addict" and "Earthquake".The group released the EP Dance or Die and the album Dance or Die in 2008. The album reached number 30 on the Billboard 200. The band released the album Family Force 5 Christmas Pageant in 2009. The group released the album III in October 2011. Solomon Olds left the group in 2013, and Jacob Olds became the lead vocalist as Teddy Boldt joined the band. The group released the albums Reanimated in 2013 and Time Stands Still in 2014.
