The Juliana Theory, an American rock band from Greensburg and Latrobe, Pennsylvania, was formed in 1997 by Joshua Fiedler, Neil Hebrank, Chad Monticue, Jeremiah Momper, and Brett Detar. The group signed with Tooth & Nail Records after being spotted at the Cornerstone Music Festival. Their debut album Understand This Is A Dream was released in 1999, followed by Emotion Is Dead in 2000. After creative disagreements, they signed with Epic/Sony and released the EP Music From Another Room in 2001. The band's third full-length album, Love (2003), produced by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads, debuted at number 71 on the Billboard 200 chart. They disbanded shortly after releasing the compilation A Small Noise in 2006. After reuniting for performances in 2009, 2010, and 2017, the band released "Can't Go Home" in 2020 after signing with Equal Vision Records.
