Biography

Further Seems Forever was an American rock band formed in 1998 in Pompano Beach, Florida. The group originated from the remnants of the Christian hardcore band Strongarm and initially featured vocalist Chris Carrabba. Their first release was a split EP with Recess Theory entitled From the 27th State, followed by their debut album The Moon Is Down in 2001. After Carrabba's departure to focus on Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever recruited Jason Gleason for their second album How to Start a Fire (2003). The band then welcomed Jon Bunch as vocalist for the release of Hide Nothing in 2004. Despite several lineup changes and a breakup in 2006, Further Seems Forever reunited in 2010 with Carrabba on vocals and released their fourth studio album Penny Black in 2012. The band's music is often classified as indie rock and frequently associated with the emo genre.
