Biography
The Varukers, a British hardcore punk band from Leamington Spa, was formed in 1979 by singer Anthony "Rat" Martin. The Varukers signed with Inferno Records and released their debut self-titled EP in 1981, followed by the single "I Donât Wanna Be A Victim" the following year. After signing with Riot City Records, they released their debut album Bloodsuckers in late 1983. The Varukers disbanded in 1987 but reunited in 1993, releasing several albums including Still Bollox But Still Here (1995) and Murder (1998). They continued to tour internationally and release music, with notable albums such as Hellbound (2005) and Damned And Defiant (2018).
