Biography
Aus-Rotten were an American crust punk band from Pittsburgh active between 1991 and 2001. The ensemble consisted of lead vocalist Dave Trenga, vocalist and guitarist Eric Good, bassist Corey Lyons, and drummer Matt Garabedian. They achieved professional recognition for their anarchist politics and released the demo recording âWe Are Denied, They Deny Itâ (1992). Their recording career includes the extended plays âAnti-Imperialistâ (1993) and âFuck Nazi Sympathyâ (1994), the latter of which sold 25,000 copies and became the best-selling release for Havoc Records. They released their debut studio album, The System Works For Them (1996), followed by a mid-1990s hiatus during which members formed the projects Human Investment and Doomsday Parade. The group performed a tour of Japan in 1998 and released the studio recording ...And Now Back to Our Programming (1998). Their discography includes the final studio album The Rotten Agenda (2001).
