Biography
The Methadones, an American punk rock band, were formed in 1993 by guitarist/vocalist Dan Vapid in Chicago, Illinois. Initially active for a brief period before disbanding to focus on other projects, The Methadones reformed in 1999 with B-Face of The Queers on bass and Dan Lumley on drums. Their debut album, Ill at Ease, was released in 2000. Following lineup changes, the band continued releasing albums, including Career Objective (2003), Not Economically Viable (2004), 21st Century Power Pop Riot (2006), and This Won't Hurt... (2007). The Methadones disbanded in 2010, releasing their final album, Methadones, which included new songs and bonus tracks. Notable singles include "I Believe" and "Gary Glitter".
