Squirtgun, an American punk rock band from Lafayette, Indiana, was formed in 1993 by record producer Mass Giorgini. The original lineup included Matt Hart, Flav Giorgini, and Dan Lumley. Squirtgun signed to Lookout! Records and released their first EP Shenanigans in the spring of 1995, followed by their self-titled debut album later that year. Their breakthrough came when "Social" was featured in Kevin Smith's film Mallrats. In 1996, they released the EP Mary Ann, a tribute to the character from Gilligan's Island. The band went on hiatus in fall of 1998 and reunited in 2008. The live album Broadcast 02.09.08 was released in 2008. After almost a twenty-year break, Squirtgun emerged with the 2 track single "Ghostly Sunflowers" in February of 2026.
