Strung Out, an American melodic hardcore band from Simi Valley, California, formed in 1991. The original lineup included Jason Cruz on lead vocals, Rob Ramos on guitar, Jim Cherry on bass, and Adam Austin on drums. Their first significant release was a self-titled 7" record in 1993, which led to their signing with Fat Wreck Chords. The band's debut album, Another Day In Paradise, was released in May 1994. Subsequent albums include Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues (1996), Twisted By Design (1998), and An American Paradox (2002). The latter charted on the Billboard 200, marking a significant milestone. Strung Out has continued to release albums, including Exile In Oblivion (2004) and Blackhawks Over Los Angeles (2007), while maintaining an active touring schedule that includes appearances on the Warped Tour. The band's lineup has evolved over the years, with notable members including Jake Kiley on guitar and Jordan Burns on drums.
