Biography

The Teen Idols are a pop-punk band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1992 by guitarist Phillip Hill. The group released the Old Days, Old Ways EP in 1993 and the Let’s Make Noise EP in 1995. Their debut full-length album Teen Idols appeared in 1997, followed by Pucker Up! in 1999 and Full Leather Jacket in 2000, all on Honest Don’s Records. After signing with Fueled by Ramen in early 2003, they issued Nothing to Prove that July before disbanding later that year; a reunion in 2008 in Chicago was short-lived, and the band dissolved again in June 2010.
