Biography

SFA is a rock group formed in 1984 by Michael Bromberg, who used the nickname “Mike Bullshit”. The band performed their first concert in New York in 1985. In 1988, Brendan Rafferty joined as a second vocalist for the debut EP New York (1988). Bromberg left to form the band Go!, while SFA continued with Rafferty as the lead singer. Their first album, The New Morality (1990), was followed by So What? (1991). The band toured Europe in 1991 and 1994. After departing from their label, SFA released Solace (1995) and toured Europe again in 1996. Singles include “Live in Europe” (1991) and “Unclean” (1994).
