Biography
Masters of Ceremony was a Dutch mainstream hardcore band formed in 1996 by Jeroen Streunding and Rob Christensen. The group later included Danny Greten, Jarno Butter, Kelly van Soest, Michael Kramer, and Niels van Hoeckel. They released the EP Hardcore to da Bone (1996) on Forze Records. The title track âHardcore to da Boneâ (1996) became an anthem in the hardcore techno scene. The band continued with the EPs Hardcore Will Survive (2000), Under Control (2001), Know Your Enemy (2002), Bottoms Up (2007), Dirt (2008), and Break (2009). The track âSo Fucking Whatâ (2002) was featured on the compilation DHT - Virus 8. A remix of the Q-Base festival anthem by Masters of Ceremony appeared on the live album VA - Q-Base: Lost in Dreams (2010). The group participated in the Deine Slampe Festival in 2016.
