Biography

Adrenalin O.D. was an American hardcore punk band from New Jersey, formed in 1981. It was formed after The East Paterson Boys Choir disbanded. Its first recordings appeared on the New York Thrash cassette compilation in 1982. Their debut vinyl release was the EP Let's Barbeque (1983). The band's first full-length album, The Wacky Hi-Jinks of Adrenalin O.D., featured fast-paced music and humorous lyrics with tracks like "Middle-aged Whore" and "Rock & Roll Gas Station". Adrenalin O.D. toured extensively and gained a loyal following through live performances blending hardcore punk and stand-up comedy. The band disbanded in 1990, with their album, Ishtar, released.
