Biography

Bl'ast, an American punk rock band formed in 1983 in Santa Cruz, California, released their debut album The Power of Expression in 1986. They were first signed by Green World Records and later signed with SST Records, releasing It's in My Blood in 1987. That year, they also released a 7-inch featuring a cover of Alice Cooper's "School's Out." Their third album for SST was Take the Manic Ride, released in 1989. Bl'ast disbanded in 1991 but reunited in 2001 and again in 2013, releasing a remixed and remastered version of It's in My Blood titled Blood!.
