Mindsnare is an Australian hardcore punk and crossover metal band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, formed in 1993 under the name Mad Circle. They released their debut EP Under Fire in 1995 through Deported Records. In 1997, they released the EPs Credulity and White, along with the compilation album Under Fire 1993â1996 through Trial and Error Records. They released their first full-length album Hanged, Choked, Wrists Slit in 2001 via Blue Murder Records. Their second studio album The Death followed in 2004 on Trial and Error Records, which also released the compilation 1997â1999: The Bootleg that same year. In 2006, they released the EP Gasman through Short Fuse Records, and their subsequent album Disturb the Hive was issued by Resist Records in 2007. They released the split singles "Kings" in 1996 and "Your Soul Belongs to Us..." in 2011. They performed at events such as Metal for the Brain in 2004 and 2006, and Bastardfest in Melbourne. They released the album Unholy Rush in 2017. Their lineup included Matt Maunder, Nigel Melder, Scott "Beltsy" Pritchard, and Gordy Forman.
