Biography

Westbound Train, a ska band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. Their debut album, Searching for a Melody, was released in 2003. The following year, they self-released their second album, Five to Two, which featured guest appearances from Alex Desert of Hepcat and King Django. In January 2006, Hellcat Records signed the band, and Five to Two was re-released by Stomp Records in March 2006. Westbound Train's third full-length album, Transitions, was released in November 2007. The band participated in notable tours, including the Summer of Ska tour in 2006 with acts like Suburban Legends and Big D and the Kids Table, and the Fall of Ska tour later that year alongside Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto. Their fourth album, Come And Get It, was released in April 2009.
