Biography
Baseball player turned singer, Todd Dulaney has established himself in the contemporary gospel charts. Born in Maywood, Illinois, on December 20, 1983, he distinguished himself in sports during his studies, playing for the New York Mets professional team, before turning to music in 2005. He began under the tutelage of Smokie Norful, with whom he toured for the first time, before establishing himself as an independent artist with the album Pulling Me Through. Its first self-released version, released in 2011, reached number 43 on the gospel charts. Reissued two years later by the GoldStreet Gospel label, it returned to #23, thanks in part to its availability on digital platforms. Signed to the Entertainment One Music label, Todd Dulaney recorded the album A Worshipper's Heart (2016), which topped the gospel charts and reached No. 150 on the Billboard 200. This success was consolidated in 2018 with Your Great Name, again ranked No. 1 on the gospel charts, and again in 2021 with Anthems & Glory. A successful live performer, Dulaney released a new live album in 2023 entitled The Journey, from which the hit single "No Weapon" was taken.
