Biography

Gospel singer, pastor and TV host Deitrick Haddon is a media personality and founder of Hill City Church in Los Angeles. Born in Detroit on May 17, 1973 into a pastoral family, he gave his first sermon at the age of eleven and sang in church, before leading a choir of sixty singers from the age of thirteen. His career began in 1995 on the Tyscot Records label with the group Voices of Unity, and continued as a solo artist in 2002 with the album Lost and Found, for Verity Records, which reached No. 5 in the gospel charts. Two years later, Crossroads was his first #1 album, followed by Church on the Moon in 2011, R.E.D. (Restoring Everything Damaged) in 2013, Deitrick Haddon's LXW in 2014 and Masterpiece in 2015. After founding Hill City Church in 2016, the singer and pastor collaborated with rapper Zaytoven on Greatest Gift (2018), followed by Time: Truth Is My Energy (2020), A Deitrick Haddon Christmas (2022) and One Night California (2024)
