Biography

The Flatliners, a Canadian punk rock band from Richmond Hill, Ontario, formed in 2002. The group released their debut album Destroy to Create independently in 2005, which was later reissued by Stomp Records. In April 2007, they signed with Fat Wreck Chords for international distribution. Their second album The Great Awake was released on September 4, 2007, followed by extensive touring across North America and Europe. Notable singles include "Cynics" (2009), "Monumental" (2010), and "Count Your Bruises" (2011). Their fourth album Dead Language was nominated for a Juno Award in the Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year category in 2014. The Flatliners continued to release albums, including Inviting Light in 2017, New Ruin in 2022 and Cold World in 2026, maintaining their presence in the punk rock scene with consistent touring.
