The Blamed, an American Christian hardcore punk band formed in 1994 in California, initially consisted of members Bryan Gray, Christopher Wiitala, Trevor Wiitala, Jeff Locke, Jim Chaffin, John Hansen, and Matt Switaj. In 1994, the group released 21 under Tooth & Nail Records, followed by Frail (1995). They subsequently released several albums including ...Again (1998), Forever (1999), Germany (2000), and Isolated Incident (2001) with Grrr Records. The band's final album, Give Us Barabbas (2002), was released under Tooth & Nail before disbanding in 2003. The Blamed reformed in the summer of 2016 to play a set at Audio Feed music festival. They recorded and released a split EP with the Satire in 2018 through Indivision Music.
