Biography

Suzie Vinnick, born April 26, 1970, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is a Canadian roots and blues singer-songwriter. Her career began with her debut album Angel in the Sidelines released in 1994. Over the years, she has released several notable albums including 33 Stars (2002), Happy Here (2008), and Me ’n Mabel (2011). Vinnick's music has been featured in various commercials and soundtracks, notably for Tim Hortons and the film A Touch of Grey. She has collaborated with several artists and bands, including The Marigolds, Betty and the Bobs, and Rick Fines. Her achievements include 12 Maple Blues Awards, winning Best Female Vocalist seven time, two times for Best Songwriter and Best Acoustic Act. She also won the award for Best Bassist in 2006.
