Shinobu Nakayama, born on January 18, 1973, in Koganei, Japan, was a Japanese actress and singer. She began her career in 1988, following in the footsteps of her sister, the renowned idol Miho Nakayama. Shinobu Nakayama's debut single "å°ããªæ±ºå¿" ("Chiisana Kesshin") was released on November 2, 1988, marking her entry into the music industry. Her first album, æ±ºå¿ (Kesshin), followed on June 1, 1989, and included notable tracks such as "è² ããªãã§ãåæ°" ("Makenaide Yuki") and "å¤ã«æããAWATENBO" ("Natsu ni Koisuru Awatenbo"). Throughout her music career, she released several albums and singles, including "æ¶ãæ¢ã¾ã!" ("Namida, Tomare!"), "é§ãã¦ããå¦å¥³" ("Yaketekita Shoujo") and è¹ã®ãªãã°ã©ã (Niji no Lithograph). Shinobu Nakayama also collaborated with various groups such as Rakutenshi and Nanatsuboshi. Her final studio album, 仿¥ã¾ã§ããã¦ææ¥ãã (Kyou made soshite Ashita kara), was released on January 1, 1991. After her music career, she transitioned to acting, appearing in films like Fist of Legend (1994) and Gamera 1: The Guardian of the Universe (1995). Shinobu Nakayama's contributions to both music and film have left a notable mark on Japanese entertainment. She also starred in several television dramas, including Nene (2009) and Shikaku Ukeoinin (2007), further solidifying her presence in the industry. Additionally, she appeared in other notable films such as Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2 (1993) and Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris (1999).
