Rieko Miura, born on September 1, 1973, in Nakano, Japan, was a Japanese singer and actress. She began her career as part of the J-pop girl group CoCo in 1989, which disbanded in 1994. Concurrently with her work in CoCo, Miura launched her solo career in 1991 with the release of her debut single "Namida no Tsubomi tachi". Her first album, Belong To You, was released on December 15, 1991. Throughout the 1990s, she continued to release popular singles such as , "Suiheisen de Tsukamaete"(1991), "Nichiyō wa Dameyo" (1991)" and Kamisama kara Moratta Chance "(1992), alongside albums like Kiss in 1996. Miura's music career spanned until 1997, after which she transitioned into acting, appearing in various dramas and films. Notable works include her roles in Yakō no Kaidan, Tokumei Kakarichou Tadano Hitoshi 4, and the anime series R.O.D -READ OR DIE-. Her acting roles spanned a wide range of genres, from romantic dramas like Koinu no Waltz to mystery series such as Tajū Jinkaku Tantei Psycho. Miura also lent her voice to anime productions, notably in R.O.D -READ OR DIE-, further expanding her artistic repertoire.
