Okamoto Minami (born July 31, 1972 in Tokyo) is a Japanese female singer who made a strong impression as a royal idol in the late 1980s and now works as a singer-songwriter. The song was released on July 26, 1988 on the Tichiku label. The song was used as a song in a popular TV drama in which she also appeared, and became a smash hit, reaching a high of No. 18 on the Oricon charts. The album information was very attractive, and she positively inserted her first album "Minamikaze" in the same year. This album was highly acclaimed as a masterpiece filled with her fresh voice and royal idol pop songs. In 2002, she changed her artist name to "Reona" and made her debut again as an R&B singer with the release of the maxi single "Shinde Kaze wo Hajimete" (Embracing the New Wind).
