Biography

Red Vanilla is an alternative rock band from Dundee, Scotland. Formed in 2021 as a four-piece, it has since become a duo consisting of Anna Forsythe (vocals, guitar) and George Weller (guitar). Inspired by 1990s alternative rock, particularly the shoegaze style, the bandâwhich formed after an online adâgained recognition on the Scottish music scene by performing at festivals and opening for other bands. Their debut EP, Days of Gray (2024), recorded in Dundee with producer Kieran Smith, was followed by singles such as âOh No, I Got Older, â âHazy, â âElectric Blue, â âSunkissed Pools, â âAsk Her If Sheâs Happy, â and âI Thought I Had It, â all compiled on the EP Where I Should Be, released in May 2026 and peaking at No. 23 on the Scottish album charts.
