Biography
Formed in Belfast (Northern Ireland) in 2018, Wynona Bleach is a British alternative rock band with shoegaze and dream pop influences and a sound reminiscent of the 1990s. Emerging from a band called R51 between 2014 and 2018, the group adopted the name Wynona Bleach and gained recognition by opening for bands such as Alice in Chains, Ash, and Feeder. Led by singer Melyssa Shannon, the band released several singles and the EP *Sugar* (2018) before signing with Fierce Panda Records in 2021. Following the release of their debut album *Moonsoake* in February 2022, the band returned with two singles in 2024 and two more in 2025, which, along with new tracks, were included on their second album, *Animal Style*, released in May 2026.
