Biography
An alternative rock trio from Hastings, East Sussex, HotWax is led by singer and guitarist Tallulah Sim-Savage. The band initially formed with bassist Lola Sam and drummer Honor Wilson were originally called The Kiffs and recorded a self-released EP entitled Moth Eaten Minds, released in 2018. The following year, they changed their name to HotWax. A fan of energetic rock with garage and punk influences, HotWax released their first single "Stay Cool" for the Cracked Ankles label in 2020, then signed with Marathon Artists for the following ones, with new drummer Alfie Sayers. Two EPs follow in 2023, A Thousand Times in May and Invite Me, Kindly in October, while the band plays several festivals and opens for Royal Blood in the UK and North America. A new series of singles spread over 2024 leads to the album Hot Shock, released in March 2025.
