Razed In Black, an electronic music act created by Romell Regulacion in Hawaii in 1994, initially featured Regulacion on vocals, rhythm guitar, and keyboards. The group signed to Cleopatra Records in 1995 and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Razed in Black's music blended industrial, synthpop, dark wave, gothic rock, and hardcore techno elements. Their releases include Shrieks, Laments, and Anguished Cries (1996), Sacrificed (1999), which reached number 24 on the CMJ RPM Charts, and Damaged (2003), among others. The band's songs were featured on television shows like Homicide: Life on the Street and in various movies and videogames. Regulacion also released material under aliases such as DJ RB, DJ Skooby, and Transmutator.
