Biography

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult is an American industrial rock and electronic music band formed in Chicago in 1987 by Groovie Mann (Frankie Nardiello) and Buzz McCoy (Marston Daley). Initially associated with the influential Wax Trax! Records label, the group became a leading force in the industrial scene with albums such as I See Good Spirits and I See Bad Spirits (1988) and Confessions of a Knife... (1990). Their provocative blend of electronic beats, disco, funk, and satirical occult imagery attracted both a devoted following and criticism from censorship groups. The commercially successful Sexplosion! (1991) marked a shift toward psychedelic house music. Thrill Kill Kult also contributed to the soundtracks of The Crow (1994), The Flintstones (1994), and the Amityville Legacy (2016) and has remained active with Mann and McCoy as its core members.
