Biography
Pride and Fall is a Norwegian futurepop and dark wave band from Stavanger, formed in 2000 by Sigve Monsen, Per Waagen, and Svein Joar A. Johnsen. The band released their debut album, Nephesh, in 2003, followed by the single "Paragon" (2003) on Dependent Records in Europe and Metropolis Records in the United States. Their first international performances included shows at Cyberia/X-Club in the Netherlands, the Invitation Festival in Belgium, and the Dark City Festival in Scotland in 2004. Other albums include Elements of Silence (2006), In My Time of Dying (2007), and Of Lust and Desire (2013). In 2016, Pride and Fall performed at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival and released their fifth album, Red for the Dead, Black for the Mourning.
