Otis Kemp is an American gospel singer, songwriter, and producer from Carol City, Florida, with cultural roots connected to the Bahamas. He began singing in church at a young age and later developed a sound that blends contemporary gospel with South Florida hip-hop and R&B influences, a style he often describes as âLife Music.â Kemp emerged nationally in the early 2020s, when he gained widespread recognition with his debut single âThe Reasonâ (2021), followed by âDaily Breadâ (2022), which reached No. 1 on Billboardâs Gospel Airplay chart.
