Biography

Born in Baltimore and raised partly in Pensacola, Little developed a distinctive vocal style influenced by Al Green and Philippe Wynne. His musical career began with his uncle, Clarence Fountain of the Blind Boys of Alabama. Little gained recognition in 2000 with his blend of gospel and R&B, releasing his debut album You Can’t Straddle the Fence in 2002. He followed it with hits like "Long as I Got Shoes" and the 2004 title track "Do Right (How You Gonna Do Right with a Do Wrong Mind)". He was also recognized for his contribution to the Grammy-winning song "I May Not Can See". In 2024, his song “No Stressing” with Angie Stone dominated the Gospel charts
