Biography

Limblifter is a Canadian alternative rock group from Vancouver, formed in 1995 by brothers Ryan Dahle and Kurt Dahle alongside Ian Somers. Their self-titled debut album, Limblifter, was released on January 29, 1996, featuring the hits "Tinfoil", "Vicious" and "Screwed It Up". The band went on hiatus when The Age of Electric regrouped for their 1997 album. After The Age of Electric disbanded, Limblifter became Ryan Dahle and Kurt Dahle's primary band. They released the album Bellaclava in 2000. In 2004, Ryan Dahle revived Limblifter with new members and released the album I/O. After a period of inactivity from 2006 to 2011, Limblifter resumed playing shows in 2012. Their fourth album, Pacific Milk, was released on April 7, 2015, followed by their fifth album, Little Payne, on October 31, 2022.
