Jonathan Sachau, known professionally as Johnny Mauser, is a German rapper born in 1984. He started his career with the crew Laute Ansage from Bad Segeberg and later moved to Lüneburg for his solo endeavors. His debut album Politisch Motivierte Sprachgewalt was released in June 2009. Mauser collaborated with Captain Gips on the album Neonschwarz, which included the controversial track "Flora bleibt," leading to its indexation by the Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien in December 2010. In July 2011, he signed with Audiolith Records and released Die Sendung mit dem Mauser. He co-founded the project Neonschwarz, releasing the EP Unterâm Asphalt der Strand in 2012. Mauser's solo album Der Katze entkommen was released in 2013, followed by Mausmission in September 2017.
