Biography
Organized Konfusion, an American alternative hip hop duo from Queens, New York, was formed in 1987 by Prince Po and Pharoahe Monch. Initially known as Simply II Positive MCs, the group began their career with Paul C producing a demo for them in the late 1980s. Their first single, "Memories of Love", was released in 1987 but did not receive radio play. The duo signed with Hollywood BASIC and released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in 1991, which featured the single "Walk Into the Sun". In 1994, they released their second album, Stress: The Extinction Agenda, notable for its concept track "Stray Bullet". Organized Konfusion moved to Priority Records and released their third album, The Equinox, in 1997. Following this release, Prince Po and Pharoahe Monch split to pursue solo careers.
