Biography

Peter Jones, known professionally as MC Shy D, is an American rapper and producer born in 1986 in the Bronx, New York. In 1987, MC Shy D released his debut album, Got to Be Tough, under Luke Skyywalker Records, followed by Cominâ Correct in 88 the next year on the same label. His third album, Don't Sweat Me, came out in 1990 via On Top Records and Benz Records and in 1993, he released The Comeback under Wrap Records. MC Shy D's fifth studio album, Recordnize, featuring DJ Smurf, was released in 1996 by Benz Records.
