Biography
Illuminati Hotties is a musical project led by producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Tudzin. Based in Los Angeles, the band emerges within the Californian alternative scene with an irreverent, amateurish tone. Their debut album, Kiss Yr Frenemies (2018), attracts attention for its caustic yet vulnerable lyrics, buoyed by lo-fi garage energy. Following contractual disputes, Tudzin releases Free I.H: This Is Not the One You've Been Waiting For (2020), a raging, liberating mixtape. In 2021, their second album Let Me Do One More confirms their cult status, combining catchy melodies, absurdist humor and social criticism. Illuminati Hotties embody a form of casual rock, somewhere between noisy catharsis and heartfelt confession, combining the edginess of punk with a sharp pop sensibility. After the power pop album Power (2024) comes the EP Nickel on the Fountain Floor (2025).
