Biography

Suzie True, an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2017 by Lexi McCoy-Caso (vocals, bass), Gee Leonardo (guitare) and Sarah Pineapple (drums). The group released their debut single "Rat Kid" on September 14, 2017, followed by the EP Nothing to You on October 26, 2018. Suzie True announced their first album Saddest Girl at the Party in 2020 and released it through On Buzz Records on November 27 of that year. This was preceded by singles "Bailey" and "Carmen". The band's second full-length album, Sentimental Scum, was released on June 30, 2023, following the release of its title track in May and the EP of the same name. In February 2024 was released the off-album single "Angel Baby", while "Leeches (Play Dead)" was the lead single of the third full-length How I Learned to Love What's Gone, issued on October 17, 2025.
