Biography

Fares Karam, born on June 25, 1973, in Jezzine, Lebanon, is a Lebanese singer. He rose to prominence between 1996 and 1997 when he participated in the television show Studio El Fan. His musical style included the Dabke style and Lebanese music in general, and his live band featured a large tabl. His debut album Chlonn (1998) was followed by Janen (2002). He released several successful albums including Aktar Min Rohi (2003), Dakeelo (2004), and W'edni (2005). Notable songs from his discography included "El-Tannoura", "Shefta", and "Neswanji". Karam performed in numerous concerts, public celebrations, and festivals worldwide, including tours in South America, the United States, Australia, and Canada. His career included several prestigious awards such as the Sydney Cedros Club Award (1999) and Arte del Líbano (2002).
