Biography

Evildead, an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, was formed in 1986. The group initially consisted of members from Agent Steel and Abattoir, including guitarist Juan García, who remained the sole original member throughout their career. Evildead's debut release was the EP Rise Above in 1989, which featured the single "Sloe-Death". This was followed by their critically acclaimed debut full-length album, Annihilation of Civilization. Their second studio album, The Underworld, was released in 1991. After a hiatus following The Underworld Tour and difficulties in producing a third album, the band split up. Evildead reunited briefly from 2008 to 2012 and again in 2016, releasing their third studio album, United States of Anarchy, in October 2020.
