Biography

Known as Kirk Hammett's first band, despite having recorded only one demo with him, Exodus is above all a sure thing in American thrash metal. Formed in 1980, Exodus recorded their first album in 1985 with Bonded by Blood. In the first part of their career, only Fabulous Disaster in 1989 managed to attract a large audience. Exodus took a long break in 1993, only to reappear in a different line-up with Tempo of the Damned in 2004. This new Exodus, led by singer Steve Souza, enjoyed late but not undeserved success with Exhibit B: The Human Condition (2010) and Blood In, Blood Out (2014).
