Biography

Agent Steel, an American speed metal band from Los Angeles, was formed in 1984 by vocalist John Cyriis and drummer Chuck Profus. The band's initial lineup included guitarists Bill Simmons, Mark Marshal, and bassist George Robb. Their debut album, Skeptics Apocalypse, was released in 1985 by Combat Records, featuring the popular track "Agents of Steel". In 1986, they released an EP titled Mad Locust Rising. The band's second album, Unstoppable Force, was released in 1986. Agent Steel disbanded in 1988 due to issues with their record label, Combat Records. They reformed in 1998 without Cyriis and released three more albums before going on hiatus in 2011. The band reunited again in 2018, with Cyriis returned as the vocalist, and released No Other Godz Before Me in 2021.
