Darrel Walls (born February 8, 1991, in Houston, Texas), also known as Darrel MusiqCity Walls or Darrel MusiqCity McGlothen-Walls, is an American gospel singer, songwriter, and vocal producer. He is best known as the eldest member of The Walls Group, a sibling quartet formed in 2009 that helped shape contemporary urban gospel. With the group, he contributed to acclaimed albums including The Walls Group (2012), Fast Forward (2014), The Other Side (2017), and Four Walls (2023), producing popular songs such as âLove on the Radioâ and âMy Life.â Expanding into solo work, Walls released Heart of Mine (2025), a collaboration with PJ Morton, featuring the notable single âAmazing.â Heart of Mine won the Best Gospel Album category at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking a major milestone in his evolving career as both a performer and creative collaborator.
