Asaka Kubo, born 20 January 1979 in Kanagawa Prefecture, is a pop singer who began as a gravure idol before moving to music. She debuted with the group Pyw-A in 2005, then formed A+Jyuc in 2006, a unit that released an annual CD and performed regularly. Her solo discography includes the albums asakaSTYLEãunpluggedã (2006), aquarium (2007), A-muse (2013), and ever lasting (2026). Notable singles such as "Curtain Call"(2003) and "Happy Perfume"(2003), appeared on the charts, and her work has been featured in photobooks and DVDs.
