Shinjiro Atae (born Novemberâ¯26â¯1988 in Kyoto) is a Japanese singerâsongwriter, actor, and model who entered the entertainment industry at fourteen when he joined the coâed group AAA under Avex. After early television and film roles, he launched his solo career in 2016 with the digital single "Reunited", which topped iTunes Japan. His debut solo album, This Is Who I Am, was released on Novemberâ¯26â¯2018, followed by a sixâday tour and the single "Gold Mine". In 2019 he collaborated with Thelma Aoyama on "Suki Suki Suki" and released the theme "Follow Me" for a haircare commercial. On Augustâ¯11â¯2021 he issued his second album, This Is Where We Promise, before putting his career on hold amid AAAâs hiatus. In 2026, His 3rd album, This is how I am, was released.
