Julia Matsuda (born February 7, 1975 in Kyoto Prefecture) is a Japanese female singer. After performing in the idol unit BABY'S, she made her solo debut in 1993 with the single "Hajishimete mo mo stopama" (I can't stop hugging you). She initially attracted attention with her highly masked promotion, but her overwhelming singing ability attracted many listeners. Julia I," reached No. 2 on the Oricon charts for the first time, and the band established itself on the scene by aggressively inserting big hits such as"Julia II" and"Julia III. After that, she shifted her focus from pop to hard rock and released a variety of indie albums , including "Liberal Minds"; in 2014, she released the album "REVIVE," which includes a selfcover, and her voice still sounds powerful as a talented rock vocalist.
