Biography

Agoraphobic Nosebleed, formed in 1994 in Springfield, Massachusetts, is an influential American grindcore band. The group initially used a drum machine programmed by guitarist Scott Hull due to the lack of a drummer, which became one of their defining characteristics. Agoraphobic Nosebleed released their debut album Honky Reduction in 1998 and followed it with several notable releases including Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope (2002), Altered States Of America (2003), and Agorapocalypse (2009). The band collaborated extensively, releasing splits with various artists such as Cattlepress and Laceration. In 2016, they released the EP Arc. Agoraphobic Nosebleed's unique sound and innovative use of technology have made them a significant figure in the grindcore genre.
