Skinless, a brutal death metal band from South Glens Falls, New York, was formed in 1992 by Ryan Wade Carpenter and Noah Carpenter. The group initially released demo tapes such as Demo (1994) and Swollen Heaps (1995). Their debut album, Progression Towards Evil, was independently released in 1998 and received critical acclaim. Skinless gained attention for their intense live performances and lyrical themes that blended apocalyptic imagery with dark humor. The band's discography includes notable albums such as Foreshadowing Our Demise (2001), From Sacrifice To Survival (2003), and Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead (2006). In 2011, Skinless announced their disbandment but reunited in 2013. Their later releases include the album Only The Ruthless Remain (2015) and the album Savagery (2018).
