Witch Fever is an alternative rock band from Manchester, formed in 2017 and comprising Amy Hope-Walpole (vocals), Alex Thompson (bass), Alisha Yarwood (guitar) and Annabelle Joyce (drums). The quartet quickly established themselves on the UK scene thanks to a hybrid sound blending doom-punk, sludge, noise, grunge and gothic influences, driven by a particularly raw and cathartic live energy. Their debut EP, Reincarnate, released in 2021, attracted the attention of the specialist press and laid the foundations for their noisy, gothic and dark sound identity. In October 2022, Witch Fever released their debut album Congregation on Music for Nations. Fueled by Amy Hope-Walpole's personal experiences within a charismatic church, the record explores themes of religious control, trauma, revolt and emancipation, set against a dark, abrasive musical backdrop. Following the release of the singles "Dead to Me!" and "The Garden", the follow-up "Fevereaten " gives its title to the second album, which is released on Halloween, October 31, 2025.
