Jack Off Jill was an American gothic metal band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, founded in 1992 by vocalist Jessicka, drummer Tenni Ah-Cha-Cha, bassist/keyboardist Agent Moulder, and guitarist Michelle Inhell. The group's early career included performances at local clubs such as Ironworks and opening for Marilyn Manson. Jack Off Jill released several independent records before signing with Risk Records in 1997. Their debut album, Sexless Demons and Scars (1997), was produced by Don Fleming of Gumball. The band toured extensively and collaborated with artists including Joan Jett and Scott Putesky of Marilyn Manson. In 2000, they released their final album, Clear Hearts Grey Flowers before disbanding later that year. Two compilations were released, Cannibal Songbook (1995), and Humid Teenage Mediocrity (2006). In 2015, the band reunited with Helen Storer. Significant posthumous releases include a cover of "Fear of Dying" by Poppy in 2021.
